The Larensian Coat of Arms presents a compound shape quarterly per saltire. The enamels of the Coat of Arms are a tribute to the National Flag of Venezuela.
The Quarter of the Chief and The Quarter of the Base, enameled in Azure (blue) loads a gold sickle faced to sinister (with the leaf turned to the left-hand side of the shield) and a golden ears beam; The sickle on the First Quarter and the ears on the Fourth Quarter remember the agriculture and the abundance of the Larensian ground.
The Dexter and Sinister Quarters, enameled in Or (yellow) load in each case a cut ox head in its natural color; The ox heads on the Second and Third Quarters alludes to the cattle, another important resource of the state.
The bar and the canons symbolize the indomitable fierceness of the Larensian people.
Over all, a Gules (red) bar loaded with two golden canons and charging a silver escutcheon with a tower in its color. The silvered escutcheon and the tower remember the strength required to defend the integrity of Venezuela.
As external ornaments, the Coat of Arms shows a ten-pointed star with another one of five edges superimposed, all in Or as crest and as supports a fruited laurel crown enlaced with a pennant in Argent (Silver.
The star recalls the geographical situation of the state at the West of the Republic and also indicates its high destiny and its ideals. The laurels and the pennants are a tribute to the Liberators of our Nation.
