The Coat of Arms of Delta Amacuro State

Heraldical Description


The Deltanian Coat of Arms presents a compound shape filled in Or and divided per bend. The Quarter of the Chief enameled in Azure (blue), shows a six pointed star in Or (yellow).

The Quarter of the Base shows a natural landscape. Over all, a Bend in Gules (red) charging a caduceus in its color. As external ornaments appears and image of El Libertador Simón Bolívar on the center of a golden garland with rays as crest.

As external ornaments the blazon presents two tenants: an aboriginal man at the dexter and the Liberty goddess at sinister sustained by a pedestal which sustain too a golden basket charged with fruit and vegetables and a Vert (green) pennant which lace two laurel branches and shows as motto the inscription "LA PAZ EN LA FEDERACIÓN" ("THE PEACE IN THE FEDERATION") in Sable (black) gothic capital letters.
